Iron Man Mk. 1 Tales of Suspense
Iron Man was my favorite comics character growing up, followed by Moon Knight. I set out to draw every armor and most of the Rogue’s Gallery, and I’ve made good progress. This is my version of the MK 1 armor as seen in the comics, with a few mild tweaks on my part. I have two versions, one with a more rusted iron color and this one with a cool blue/gray iron, more like the books (granted it was light gray trying to be steel in four-color style)… obviously the conceit here is the use of colors associated with iron and not steel.
