Ive loved a lot of Iron Man designs over the years, but this was the first one that I consider my own, meaning landing right at the time I was early on reading the books feeling contemporary and exciting. Iron Man #200 with the face off with Iron Monger was a seminal read for me. I look at the design today and the colors and design cues look less ‘Iron Man’ to me than they did at the time, but I still love it. Don’t ask me how he raises his arms, but anyway.
