Major Motoko Kusanagi [Ghost in the Shell]

Ghost in the Shell was one of my favorite properties in my obsession with Masamune Shirow’s catalog. It still is, and I’ll defend the live action version, despite the controversy. I’ve drawn the Major a number of times, and certainly ripped her design off in my youth, just as I did the Appleseed characters. Today, Batou is my favorite character from GitS but Kusanagi is always a fun one to sketch.
