Mary Marvel [New 52]
Many of the New 52 redesigns were exciting to me, and I couldn’t wait to draw them. One such design was mary Marvel. Today, with the Shazam sequel pending, a lot of the design elements from the New 52 version have already been incorporated into the film costumes, and some of those looks also warrant a sketch. At the time, I remember thinking I really liked the introduction of a hood to a skirted costume, as irrational as it was.
