Stranger Things
I created this piece right after completing Stranger Things S01. I was super stoked about the Demogorgon design, and everything about the tension in this season, particularly the interactions through the dimensional membrane in the house, etc. I was excited to debut this at Rose City Comic Con the next weekend, and worked feverishly to get it done and printed in time. To my horror (!), several of the customers at my table that first day expressed befuddlement at ‘what that thing is standing behind Eleven’ so I learned the hard way that some fans don’t burn through the Netflix binge series content as fast as others. I had to mask the image thereafter for the weekend so as not to spoil for anyone else. This remains one of my best sellers, to this day.
