Xena Warrior Princess
Hard to beat the original funny, clever, powerful, sexy and subversive Xena for live action warrior women! I had wanted to draw Xena for a long time, and this worked out pretty much spot on for what I had visualized. Interesting to see the later live action Wonder Woman costume and some of the similarities in cut and materiality. Lucy Lawless owned this performance. When she appeared in Battlestar: Galactica it was like the gravity well of fandom tightened up just a bit.
